1951
As a loan repayment Zani Giovan Battista receives a share in a bus company called 'Autolinea Valle Brembana' and the once cattle farmer became an 'entrepreneur of the transport business'. In those years the job consisted of transporting workers from Dossena to San Pellegrino Terme, an important tourist city that employed many inhabitants of the Brembana Valley.
1961
Zani Giovan Battists hands the company over to his sons and Zani Evaristo takes over the role of CEO of the company in San Pellegrino under the new name 'Autoservizi Zani & F.Lli S.N.C'
1962
Due to the increased demand for coach tours, adventures, trips for churches and groups of friends, the office moves to Bergamo.
1969
Zani Viaggi is expanding and acquires the bus line Milan-Dolomiti and opens its first office in the centre of Milan. The company goes from strength to strength in the following years as the number of passengers continues to grow. The Milanese chose the green valley of the Alps to spend their summer holidays while the people living in Veneto came to Milan to work in the factories.
1977
The quality and comfort for passengers keeps growing and the first double decker coach is unveiled at the Salon of Turin, Italy. |

1978
Italian's go crazy for holidays! So we open our first travel agency in Milan. The chosen location is Foro Bonaparte, a few metres from the gothic Sforza castle.
1980
Our first travel agency opens in Brembana Valley! After the initial reluctance of the Valley's people in buying trips from a catalogue, the agency becomes a reference point for all travelers.
1991
As we continue to grow, Zani Viaggi opens a travel agency in Bergamo organisaing coach tour packages for groups
2000
The travel industry booms and we open a new agency in Almenno San Salvatore, Bergamo!
2006
Milan welcomes the City Sightseeing red open topped double-decker buses to tourists, operated by Zani
2010
Excited, we continue to expand a new City Sightseeing branch in Genoa
2011
